PlugAndSun is an independent guide to plug-in balcony solar in the US. We do not test hardware — we track the law, read the datasheets and do the math, and we cite every source with the date we checked it.
What we do, and what we don't.
Buying a balcony kit in the US means wading through marketing copy, German forum threads and legal advice that is three years out of date. Nobody maintains a straight answer to the first question every buyer has: am I even allowed to do this where I live?
So that is what we built. We compile manufacturer specifications, state legislation, published utility rules and current retail prices into guides you can check line by line.
We want to be exact about the limits of that. We have never mounted a panel, metered a balcony or installed a kit, and nothing on this site claims otherwise. What we offer instead is sourcing: every spec traceable to a datasheet, every legal status to a statute, every price to a listing, each with the date it was verified.

Every factual claim carries a link and the date we checked it. If we cannot source it, we do not print it.
No experience we don't have
We do not test, own or install hardware, and we will never write as though we do. Specs and law are public; pretending otherwise is not.
