Affiliate disclosure

Full transparency about how this site makes money — required by the FTC, and the right thing to do anyway.

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the FTC's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"), we disclose that we have financial relationships with some of the companies whose products we mention.

What it funds

Commissions pay for the research time, the data sources and the hosting. It's what keeps the site free, with no paywall and no display ads.

What it never changes

Products earn a recommendation before any affiliate relationship is considered — never the other way around. Negative verdicts stay published even when they cost us money. If a product is bad, we say so.

How to spot them

Affiliate links appear mainly as "Check price" buttons and comparison tables in reviews. Assume any retailer link may be an affiliate link.
